Red Boiling Springs is the solo noise project by Matt Sullivan, based in Portland, OR. For the past 10 years, RBS has bounced between harsh noise, power electronics, ambient, and drone.
Sullivan operates the small-run label Nailbat Tapes, which specializes in metal and noise cassette releases. He's also a member of Evaporated Sores (death-doom/harsh noise), Maltheist (deathgrind), and Depleted (funeral / death-doom), among other extreme music projects.
About Spectrum:
"My daughter was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder when she was two years old." As she learns to navigate through the world and interact with it, I also learn how she receives it differently. That process of growing into yourself isn't really any different from the journey another neurotypical person would make, but as someone who's not on the spectrum, I'm often in situations as a parent where I'm being taught rather than being the teacher.
